I’ll be honest with you, summer is the most demanding season of all when it comes to fragrances, perfumes, and colognes.
A summer scent needs to be light, but stable, punchy, but not aggressive. It’s easier to make a winter scent because summer demands balance, but also a story.
Here’s our list of the best summer fragrances for men in 2022, what makes them the best, and how we chose them.
When It Comes To Summer Fragrances, What Do You Look For?
The best summer fragrances for men for 2022 have been difficult to choose since many of the old favorites are still around, but there are also a few surprises.
Our team tested 25 of the best fragrances, colognes, and perfumes.
The following is our testing protocol:
- A fragrance was tested five times on five different occasions – daytime outdoors, daytime indoors, office, nighttime outdoors, nighttime indoors
- The average performance and longevity were measured and documented
- In addition to discussing perfume compositions, a team of experts (including myself) discussed the trends expected in 2022
To conclude, all of the fragrances and colognes listed on this list are without a doubt amazing, and most of them are safe blind purchases. Despite our best efforts to provide a glimpse into every fragrance’s story and scent, if you need further information about a certain fragrance, please read the detailed review linked below, or if it does not have a review, please feel free to contact us, and we will look into it.
Below is a list of fragrances and colognes that are not in any particular order since we believe no one has the right to judge what is better than another. As with paintings, you may like one but not the other – the same is true for fragrances.
Any one of these 25 perfumes will most certainly serve you well, but ultimately it depends on your personal preferences. On this list, I am confident that you will find something that you will love.
Which are the best summer fragrances and colognes for men in 2022?
1. Tiziana Terenzi Kirke — Editor’s Choice

I will begin this list with my own personal favorite.
In spite of the fact that many reviews say that Kirke is a more feminine scent, that it does not work well during winter, and that it is perfect for winter, I would not argue with that statement.
After wearing Kirke since 2018, and after a dozen well-spent bottles, I can confidently say that this is an excellent all-season fragrance for both men and women. Despite being sweet, it works during summer and if you get it, you cannot go wrong with it, regardless of the weather.
The fragrance was released in 2015 and just like Circe, the goddess it is named after, Kirke represents a magical, sensual scent that is bound to guide you on mysterious paths in discovering your deepest emotions.
Besides the stunning scent, Kirke also has a huge advantage over many other beautiful liquids, which is a monstrous performance. There is no need to worry about Kirke if you take a shower, wash your clothes, or go to the bathroom.
It opens with a prominent flowery bomb that is so professionally blended that only highly skilled noses will be able to detect a specific note.
To me, it’s a combination of peaches, pears, and raspberries.
Besides this animalic note, patchouli, vanilla, and sandalwood contributed to the development of this initially strong floral scent into a powdery, fresh, musky, and slightly woody fragrance.
I have said before that Kirke is the perfect choice for any occasion, no matter the weather or season. Its versatility is beyond its boundaries with a veil of uniqueness surrounding it. Therefore, this fragrance is also on the list of best winter fragrances for men.
Since it is a unisex fragrance, it makes a great gift choice for both men and women!
The short summary of Kirke Tiziana Terenzi is as follows:
- The concentration is extrait de parfum
- On average, 12+ hours of longevity
- The projected longevity is 6 hours
- Distance projection: 7-8 feet
- The silage is enormous
- The price is great!

2. Chanel Paris Édimbourg — Best Latest Release

A fragrance with the latest release date, but the best among others, gets the Best Latest Release award. Once the fragrance that deserves this spot more comes out, we’ll update it. Chanel Paris’ Édimbourg is the Best Latest Release right now.
The newest Chanel release Paris – Edimbourg really caught my eye with such a simple composition.
It’s not what you’d expect from a simple note breakdown, but that’s what famous perfume specialist, Oliver Polge, is known for – creating surprises when we least expect them. Edimbourg is on this list of best summer fragrances for men because of that.
As soon as you spray it, you’ll smell juniper berries and cypress. Lemon, or any other citrusy note, isn’t listed in the breakdown, but I get a slight crispy lemony effect.
There are a lot of woody nuances from cedar and vetiver, but the scent stays fresh and spicy at times. The smell gets compared to barbershop, but it all depends on how your nose takes it in.
This is a sophisticated, rich, compliment grabber scent you want on your shelf; it’s unisex, but it leans more toward the masculine side.
A short summary of Paris – Edimbourg Chanel:
- The concentration is eau de toilette (EDT).
- Approximately six hours of longevity on average
- Longevity projection: 2-3 hours
- Two feet away from the projector
- It’s moderately silaged
- It’s a fair price!
3. Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi

Even though we’ve seen many citrus-aromatic scents, Tom Ford never fails to add its signature touch and create a unique, rule-breaking aroma.
This perfume is perfect for both men and women, but if you want to pull it off, you’ll need the right attitude, since it won’t be a silent scent.
Mandarino di Amalfi opens with a citrusy combo of lemon and grapefruit, followed by orange blossom in the middle.
Even though mint and black currant are listed as top notes, it’s hard to recognize them.
The herbs from the middle tones finally surface and give it an aromatic, clean, fresh, and slightly spicy vibe as it dries.
You can also smell a hint of black pepper during that period as the lemon flavor fades away.
Mandarino di Amalfi will take you right back to the warm, exotic days on the Italian coast and, if you need a charming date scent, it can do the trick.
This is how Mandarino di Amalfi by Tom Ford is short:
- EDP (eau de parfum) concentration
- It lasts about 4-5 hours on average
- The projection lasts 1-2 hours
- Distance projection: 2 feet
- It’s moderately silaged
- I think it’s a little overpriced!

4. Armaf Club de Nuit Sillage

People were drawn to House of Armaf because it created high-quality copies of expensive, famous scents at a much more affordable price.
Sillage by Club de Nuit is an awesome clone of Silver Mountain Water by House of Creed – and when I say awesome, I mean it’s a realistic interpretation of a high-quality Creed scent for the price.
The Club de Nuit Sillage is what you’re looking for if you’re looking for something similar to Creed’s expensive liquid but don’t want to pay Creed’s price.
With its citrusy notes of lemon, bergamot, and lime, Club de Nuit Sillage opens with a sparkling and slightly sweet ginger tone.
Unlike Silver Mountain Water, Club de Nuit Sillage is less metallic, has a less inky feel to it, and seems less green.
As it dries down, the ambroxan and musky dominate with a woody undertone. I like the scent, powdery and brisk, very fresh and effervescent, with light, fruity notes.
Lastly, I’d recommend Club de Nuit Sillage because it’s almost a year-round scent; that’s why it’s on the list of best summer scents for men.
The smell doesn’t come across as offensive or aggressive, so you can wear it to work.
The short summary of Club de Nuit Sillage is as follows:
- EDP (eau de parfum) concentration
- The average duration is approximately six hours and more
- The projection has a lifespan of between one and two hours
- Distance projection: two feet
- There is a strong silage
- The price is very reasonable.
5. Louis Vuitton Imagination

There are many “freshies” under Louis Vuitton’s collection, but Imagination got a lot of love and hype from the fragrance community.
A fresh spicy scent, Imagination makes your imagination run wild. The combination of fresh nuances and something sweet and spicy like cinnamon isn’t very common, but don’t be afraid to try it.
Imagination by Louis Vuitton opens with citrusy notes of bergamot and neroli, but soon gets sweet with ginger and cinnamon.
As soon as it starts its ride to the midpoint, you smell the spice – an interesting combination of fresh and warm spices that strangely blends well with the citrusy start.
Along with the woodiness, the dry down has a prominent and strong ambroxan that covers the whole composition like a blanket.
Although green tea isn’t an official scent, it may evolve on your skin differently.
The short summary of Louis Vuitton Imagination is as follows:
- The concentration of the fragrance is eau de parfum (EDP).
- On average, it lasts 6+ hours
- 2 hours of projection
- Projection distance: 2 ft
- It’s moderately silaged
- I think it’s a little overpriced!
6. Nishane EGE / ΑΙΓΑΙΟ

A high-quality fragrance with eternal longevity from Nishane, EGE / ******, is perfect for anyone who loves strong, green, and spicy scents.
Extrait de parfum means that it goes up to 40%. That’s why it sticks to your skin forever and you only need 2 sprays to get the best out of it.
You get a very bright, tart, citrusy scent with an herbal undertone as soon as you open this perfume. Only in the opening is it citrusy and herbal.
Due to citrus notes being short-lived, they quickly give way to earthy, vegetal, herbal notes. There’s a good balance between basil and mint. There’s also a hint of fresh spiciness from the cardamom.
There’s still a green herbal undertone, but it also gets a little soapy.
With its minty side and monstrous performance, EGE / ******* is perfect for extremely hot weather. Among the best summer fragrances for men, I recommend this daring scent for anyone who loves challenges.
This is Nishane EGE / ****** in a nutshell:
- Concentration: perfume extrait
- On average, it lasts 10+ hours
- Three to four hours of projection
- Distance: 3-4 feet
- Silage: good
- It’s pricey
7. Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Marine

With an excellent price and a charming scent, Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Marine is a great bang for your buck.
This is a modern, classy scent that might seem a bit “ordinary”, but it’s a nice “blue”, marine scent that’s very easy to like.
This fragrance has a sweet-citrus opening, but also balances saltiness and sweetness well.
It’s important to note that Aqva Pour Homme Marine could easily pass for a Chanel scent; it has that cleanness, radiance, and snappiness you find in some Chanel scents.
Midway through, you get prominent water notes along with seaweed that finish the citrus with an aquatic, marine, fresh vibe.
This is a real “blue” fragrance that’s perfect for summer days, a very light perfume for every day use.
The short version of Aqva Pour Homme Marine by Bvlgari is:
- A concentrated eau de toilette (EDT).
- On average, it lasts around 5 hours
- Projections last an hour
- A distance of 1-2 feet is projected
- It’s a moderate silage
- It’s a good price!
8. Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo – Fico di Amalfi

It’s only fair we’d include Blu Mediterraneo – Fico di Amalfi on our list of best summer fragrances for men, since there aren’t many high-quality, successful, fig-oriented scents, and this one is popular.
This isn’t the only fantastic summer scent from Blu Mediterraneo, but its uplifting, fig-woody composition deserves a special mention.
In addition to the citrusy opening created by the bergamot and grapefruit, the gorgeous, milky fig elevates the whole scent. This is a fruity, sweet combination with a citrusy top and woody base.
It dries down to a woody, even green smell with touches of fig still lingering.
Blu Mediterraneo – Fico di Amalfi is also completely unisex, so if you’re looking for a great scent for you and your partner, this is it!
Basically, Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo is Fico di Amalfi.
- EDT (eau de toilette)
- Average longevity: 4 to 5 hours
- The projection lasts an hour
- Distance: 1-2 feet
- The silage is moderate
- The price is fair!
9. Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Forever Pour Homme

You would choose Light Blue Forever; 2021 release if you could only pick one fragrance from the Light Blue magnificent collection.
Light Blue Forever’s citrus isn’t the sweet, easy-going kind of citrus, so if you’re looking for that kind of citrus, don’t look here.
With the first spray, you’ll taste a strong grapefruit nuance; it’s zesty, sour, sweet, tart, and very realistic/natural. In the middle, you get vetiver with a hint of violet leaf.
Surprisingly, the grapefruit hangs around for a long time before the vetiver finally takes over.
Overall, it smells very pleasant with ozonic tones; very unique and fresh, something you’ll definitely want to have during summer.
Short summary of Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Forever:
- The concentration is eau de parfum (EDP).
- On average, it lasts 7+ hours
- Longevity of projection: 1 hour
- Two feet away from the projector
- It’s moderately silaged
- I think the price is fair!
10. Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò Profondo

When you’ve smelled Acqua di Gi*, then you know what to expect; Acqua di Gi* Profondo takes the good from the original’s DNA release, but makes it stronger and essentially more modern.
The color is a bluer version of Acqua di Gi*, but besides that, it’s attention-grabbing, likeable, and will get you compliments. It replaces the original Acqua Di Gio on the list of best summer fragrances for men in 2022.
The Acqua di Gi* Profondo is green, juicy, and fresh. Aside from the bergamot and mandarin, the sea notes and aquazone give it an aquatic, marine vibe.
From the very beginning, there’s a bit of fuzzy mineral accord underneath the opening notes; not overpowering or super strong, but there.
In addition to the sea top notes, you also get rosemary, lavender, and mastic nuances that create a fresh, green smell. For the rest of the fragrance’s lifecycle, that aromatic mixture stays the same.
The short version of Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gi*:
- The concentration is eau de parfum (EDP)
- On average, it lasts 7-8 hours
- Longevity of projection: 1-2 hours
- Projection distance: 2 to 3 feet
- A moderate amount of silage
- Price: fair!

11. Parfums de Marly Sedley

It seems like Parfums de Marly actually listened to our despair and decided to improve, unlike many PDM scents that disappointed us with poor performance.
There’s no age limit on Sedley; young guys can pull it off, but it’s not too youthful; it has an elegance to it so more mature gentlemen will also enjoy its scent.
Sedley will also look great if you decide to wear it to a formal event; it has that instinctive note that won’t embarrass you.
There’s a whole bunch of citrus notes in the opening, as well as a cool touch of mint, and they work so well together. This is a clean, safe, likable scent with a light, green undertone and an illustrious fresh vibe.
Eventually, you’ll get lavender, rosemary, and geranium, which aromatically affect the whole composition, but the scent stays fresh and clean. Dry-down is ambroxan-oriented with cashmere flavors; massively appealing and really easy to wear.
Here’s what Parfums de Marly Sedley is all about:
- The concentration is eau de parfum (EDP).
- On average, it lasts 8+ hours
- The projection lasts about 2 hours
- Distance projection: 1-2 feet
- The silage is strong
- The price is a little high!
12. Montblanc Explorer

In 2019, Montblanc Explorer gained so much popularity because some consumers found it offensively similar to Aventus, and we love affordable perfumes that smell like expensive ones.
In spite of the fact that Aventus has been the victim of many clones, Montblanc Explorer took some DNA from Aventus and added its own charm that has turned out to be fantastically good.
In the beginning, Montblanc Explorer smells like a fresh, spicy, and warm welcome scent, but when it dries down, it becomes leathery and woody. With a synthetic undertone, this fragrance is pleasant and easy to wear.
It is also valid to validate the spiciness and warmth from pink pepper and clary sage, but it’s not a strong and easily detectable smell, although it gives the whole composition of the fruity opening that quirky and humorous note.
The Montblanc Explorer is a very pleasant fragrance, very likable and can also be a great complement factor, but what is really impressive about this fragrance is that it doesn’t smell like a typical designer fragrance.
A secret aura surrounds it and it’s not pretending to be something that it’s not – that’s why it proudly holds the number one spot on our list of the best summer fragrances for men.
The short summary of the Montblanc Explorer is as follows:
- EDP (eau de parfum) concentration
- On average, the product lasts for 5-6 hours
- The projection lasts between one and two hours
- In terms of distance, the projection is between one and two feet
- A moderate amount of silage occurs
- The price is great!

13. Hermès Un Jardin En Mediterranee

It’s probably Un Jardin that deserves more attention than it gets; a collection with so many gorgeous, appealing scents for summer adventures. Before we get started, a quick disclaimer: this fragrance is marketed for women, but it’s awesome on guys too. You won’t regret it!
Hermès’ Un Jardin En Mediterranee gets a special mention in the collection; it has a thrilling, fig touch and Hermès’ DNA.
Right from the beginning, Un Jardin En Mediterranee smells citrusy, fresh, spicy, and fig leafy. Although it’s not an overly fig-oriented scent like Blu Mediterraneo – Fico di Amalfi, the green nuance of fig leaf is detectable.
As it dries down, the scent gets an aromatic phase with a prominent green touch as the fig leaf still lingers. Towards the end, the woody notes from the base come forward more aggressively, but the scent still stays fresh and sweet.
I recommend visiting your local perfumery and trying a few Un Jardin scents if you haven’t yet, you might be surprised what you’ve been missing.
Here’s a quick summary of the Mediterranean Garden:
- The concentration is eau de toilette (EDT).
- Average longevity: 6 hours
- Longevity projection: 1-2 hours
- The projection is 1-2 feet away
- A moderate amount of silage
- It’s a good price!
14. Azzaro Chrome Pure

For anyone looking for a scent that screams poolside bar with a short-sleeved white button-up, Azzaro Chrome Pure is perfect.
As well as its desirable nature, Azzaro Chrome Pure is a great buy for the back; it’s been on discounters for some time, but it’s only a matter of time before it’s back at its regular price.
Pure strikes me as something different from the rest of the Chrome line; it doesn’t have too many similarities with the rest of the line and what it does on its own is purely delicious.
In the beginning, Azzaro Chrome Pure smells citrusy, with bergamot and mandarin, but it soon gets that exotic, beachy, sexy, and fresh touch that’s just irresistible.
The middle has a coconut-like, creamy, milky vibe and even though coconut isn’t an official note, there’s something about sweet coconut milk that makes your mouth water.
Dry-down is more woody-oriented with an aquatic note from the heart and an aromatic freshness on top. Boosting, sweet, and incredibly pleasant, it’s also great for layering and combining with other summer scents.
Here’s a quick summary of Azzaro Chrome Pure:
- The concentration is eau de toilette (EDT).
- On average, it lasts 7+ hours
- Longevity of projection: 1-2 hours
- Distance: 2-3 feet
- It’s moderately silaged
- Good value for the price!
15. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau

With only three notes in the note breakdown, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau is pleasantly sweet and not so citrusy.
Bergamot is at the top, coconut is in the middle, and tonka bean is at the bottom of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau. It’s a very simple scent, but it’s delicious and enjoyable.
The scent opens with citrusy bergamot, but very quickly the coconut kicking in and the scent gets sweeter, creamier, and reminds you of toffee.
The coconut in Le Beau isn’t the typical suncream scent, it’s mainly overpowered by tonka bean and never gets too prominent or dominant.
With a sweet, vanilla-like, ambery finish, the dry-down is heavily tonka-oriented.
Le Beau is also pretty versatile; every season except for colder, winter days would be great for wearing it, and it can also be your date night, charming liquid.
The short version of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau:
- The concentrate is eau de toilette (EDT).
- On average, it lasts 6+ hours
- The projection lasts an hour
- Distance projection: 2 feet
- It’s moderately silaged
- The price is fair!
16. Creed Royal Water

It’s one of Creed’s most underrated scents that deserves to be adored and valued by the fragrance community.
Although Creed offers so many great summer-heat scents, it’s hard to keep track of them all. But Rolay Water might be your hidden gem.
Fresh, zingy, and bright, Royal Water opens with citruses and mint. When it dries down, you get juniper and basil, which has a fresh-spicy, green, herbal taste that combines with citrus residue.
The dry-down is mostly musk with Creed’s well-known Ambergris that they use in everything.
Even though it comes off as a more mature fragrance, if you like spicy, fresh scents, no matter what your age, you should try it.
One more thing – it’s great for the office too.
Here’s what Creed Royal Water is all about:
- A concentrate of eau de parfum (EDP)
- Average longevity: 6+ hours
- Duration: 1 hour
- Distance projection: 2 to 3 feet
- A moderate amount of silage
- A little overpriced!
17. Nautica Voyage

The best deal on the market right now – Nautica Voyage, a fragrance that brings a high-quality liquid for a cheaper price and lots of compliments.
For some time, Nautica Voyage was the top seller on Amazon. It’s a fresh bomb that’ll get women’s attention and make them fall in love with your perfume. It’s a mass-appealing scent with great versatility that’s perfect for any occasion.
Apples and green leaves give off a sharp, green aroma right away. Clean, after-shower scent, but in a positive, enjoyable way.
After drying down, you get a fruity-floral mix, but it’s still fresh, airy, and clean, slightly powdery and aquatic from the lotus and mimosa.
It has been rumored that Nautica Voyage has been reformulated, and it is true. In any case, you get a marvelous, lovable scent that can be your signature summer scent for the price.
The Nautica Voyage in a nutshell:
- The concentration is eau de toilette (EDT).
- On average, it lasts 6-7 hours
- Longevity of projection: 1 hour
- 2 ft projection in distance
- Quite a bit of silage
- It’s a great price!
Are you curious about Nautica Voyage? Check out our review!
18. Chanel Allure Sport Eau Extreme

All-year-round signature scent that you can treat yourself to. There is no doubt that this is an ultra-versatile fragrance that is able to handle the heat of summer, the colder weather of autumn, and any night-based occasion.
In recent batches, Allure Sport Eau Extreme has been reformulated and is now marked as an EDP instead of an EDT. As suspicious humans, the community was easily scared away thinking that the newish release wouldn’t be as good as EDT, but we were all mistaken.
As one of the best summer fragrances for men, Allure Sport Eau Extreme EDP easily made the cut.
With its invigorating, sensual taste, you are greeted by a fresh, minty flavor. The aromatic vibes from cypress and sage are noticeable from the beginning and continue throughout.
The mid-stage is spicier with pepper, while the dry-down is more tonka-focused with vanilla and wood.
Here’s a quick summary of Chanel Allure Sport Eau Extreme:
- The concentration is eau de toilette (EDT)
- On average, it lasts 7+ hours
- Longevity of projection: 2 hours
- Distance projection: about 2-3 feet
- Silage: good
- Overpriced!
19. Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau Fraîche

It’s worth trying some of Yves Saint Laurent’s high-quality, versatile, and attractive scents under the Y line.
Even though Y Eau Fraiche isn’t as versatile as Y EDP or Y EDT, it’s amusing and super loveable, especially for a designer fragrance.
Opening up with lemon and ginger, it’s refreshing, clean, sparkly, and bracing – just in a nutshell, it’s very pleasant and easy to like.
Black pepper is also a top note, but it’s not notable or it’s been blended with other notes so it doesn’t stand out.
When it gets to the middle, you get a lot of juniper and mint’s cooling, refreshing effect. As the citrus fades, the smell transitions to an aromatic, fresh-spicy taste.
A modern woody-mint composition with hints of spice finishes the scent.
You can give Y Eau Fraiche as a gift to someone you don’t know their fragrance preference because it’s a compliment puller and mass-appealing.
The short version of Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau Fraîche:
- The concentration: eau de toilette (EDT)
- On average, it lasts up to 6 hours
- Duration of projection: 1 hour
- A distance of 1-2 feet is projected
- Moderate sloughing
- It’s a good price!
20. Prada L’Homme Prada L’Eau

In theory, L’Homme Prada L’Eau is what a flanker is supposed to be – it has a lot of L’Homme DNA, and if you’ve smelled the original, then this won’t be anything new.
Basically, Prada made a lighter, fresher, more transparent version of L’Homme L’Eau Prada, and that’s how we got a sensual, iris, scent on the list of best summer fragrances.
With a touch of citrus and sweet spice, L’Homme Prada L’Eau is an iris-based scent. The iris note is usually compared to lipstick, but because of the citrus in this composition, you get a pleasant, clean, soft scent instead.
When it dries down, the scent takes on more powdery notes from the iris nuance and also from the powdery notes in the backbone, and that stays throughout the whole performance.
You can wear L’Homme L’Eau Prada to work; it’s casual, relaxing, and can be the perfect spring/summer scent.
The short version of Prada L’Homme Prada L’Eau:
- Water concentration: eau de toilette (EDT)
- On average, it lasts 6 hours
- The projection lasts about an hour or two
- The projection is about 1-2 feet away
- It’s moderately silaged
- It’s a fair price!
21. Lacoste Eau de Lacoste L.12.12. White

The Lacoste L.12.12 White or Blanc (different names on different sites so don’t get confused) is a unique, masculine fragrance with a charming, inoffensive, and invigorating smell.
‘Unique, men’s fragrance’ refers to the white florals in the composition of Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 White that are usually in women’s fragrances. It works well with the rest of the nuances and supports the masculine and fresh nature.
Grapefruit is the initial strike, while white florals and Ylang-Ylang sweeten the whole composition. Even though the floral side of this fragrance isn’t that strong or striking, it still smells sweet.
When the citrus dries down, the woody backbone comes through, and you get a masculine, aromatic but clean and light scent.
‘Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 White’ is also very versatile; because it’s not aggressive, you can use as much as you want and you’ll get compliments.
The short version of Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 White:
- EDT (eau de toilette)
- On average, it lasts 6 hours
- The projection lasts about an hour
- Distance from the projector: 1-2 feet
- A moderate amount of silage
- Good value for the money!
22. Mugler A*Men Ultra Zest

A*Men Ultra Zest is another great scent for an affordable price. It’s high-quality, versatile, unique, and highly likable.
Since then, the price on Amazon and similar sites has increased a lot, but if you’re lucky, you might still find it for its regular price.
It’s worth trying, by all means.
There’s tangerine and blood orange in A*Men Ultra Zest, along with mint. You’ll also detect a hint of ginger and cinnamon, along with the nuance of coffee; all these notes are very well blended and the scent is distinct, rich, and dense.
Adding to the masculinity and expensiveness of the fragrance is Mugler’s signature note of patchouli in the dry-down.
Mugler’s Ultra Zest is one of the best scents they’ve ever made; besides the phenomenal aroma, it works for any season, any event, and any time of day. I hope you can find it for a reasonable price since it deserves to be called one of the best summer fragrances.
The short version of A*Men Ultra Zest:
- Concentrate: eau de toilette (EDT)
- On average, it lasts up to 8 hours
- The projection lasts about an hour or two
- Distance projection: 2-3 feet
- It’s silaged moderately
- It’s a fair price!
23. Byredo Gypsy Water

It’s a great, cozy, and relaxing unisex fragrance with an expensive-like scent and amazing versatility – Gypsy Water by Byredo is worth all the hype.
With lemon-bergamot citrus and pepper spiciness, Byredo Gypsy Water opens with a citrusy hit. With interesting composure and a very professional blend, it’s a fresh, light, and soft opening.
Early on, when the flavor dries down, it turns woodier, incensey, aromatic, and sweeter and powderier because of the amber and orris root.
In addition to its comforting, cheerful nature, Byredo Gypsy Water has a very versatile scent; non-aggressive, non-offensive, and suitable for all kinds of occasions.
Here’s what Byredo Gypsy Water is all about:
- A concentration of eau de parfum (EDP).
- Average longevity: 6 hours
- Projected lifespan: about an hour
- Distance projection: 2 feet
- A moderate amount of silage
- I think it’s a little overpriced!
24. Versace Man Eau Fraiche

Versace Man Eau Fraiche Versace is still among the best summer fragrances for men, even after 16 years since its release.
It still holds the same power of excitement that we all felt when we first smelled Man Eau Fraiche Versace. Still manages to compete with new, modern approaches while bringing back all the good memories from the past.
It’s got citrusy-fruity notes of bergamot, lemon, and carambola right from the start. One of the most interesting things about this perfume is how much spiciness there is in such a fresh, aquatic, summery scent. However, it works great.
Toward the end, you get more of a sage-woody scent with tropical traces and an aromatic blanket.
There’s no denying that Man Eau Fraiche Versace is a real compliment beast, confidence booster, and enjoyable fragrance that reminds you of tropical, long-island beaches and vacation days.
Versace Man Eau Fraiche Versace short description:
- A concentrated eau de toilette (EDT)
- Average longevity: 6 hours
- Projected longevity: about an hour or two
- Distance projection: 2 feet
- A moderate amount of silage
- Good value for the price!
25. Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua 2018

As the previous 2015 version was discounted, Paco Rabanne’s comeback to aquatic scent orientation with Invictus Aqua 2018 is a rebirth or should we say comeback?
The 2018 version of Invictus Aqua is better, upgraded, and more pleasant than the 2016 version, according to many fragrance lovers.
Right from the first spray, you get a marine, aquatic vibe that stays distinctive throughout the whole experience.
As the citrus fades, woodier nuances from the heart and base take center stage and you get a soft, woody, and fresh overtake.
There’s a hint of violet in there, but the scent is ozonic, clean, marine, and blue, besides being slightly powdery with amber inclusions.
Perfect for hot summer days when you need a refreshing poison to keep you going!
Short summary of Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua 2018:

To learn more about perfumes and colognes, we recommend reading the following posts:

While I am passionate about perfume, I live in a rural area of the Bronx, New York, far from any perfume stores that are close by. It is straightforward: I do not have any credentials to provide as the author of this blog. I just love perfume, that’s all I have to offer.
In addition to wearing male, female, and unisex fragrances, I also enjoy wearing perfumes containing woods, incense, citrus, flowers, spices, vetiver, and green notes. As well as chypre perfumes, I enjoy fragrances with oakmoss, especially chypres. Patchouli and amber are not particularly appealing to me, and with some notable exceptions, perfumes that smell very clean, oceanic, or are too sweet are not particularly appealing to me.
I also have an addiction to expensive chocolates and teas, and I spend a great deal of time browsing the Internet, reading blogs primarily written by others.
